Paul Sveen's comedy is based on the stories of his life- Paul travels through the dumb and dysfuntion of his life connecting to audiences in gut wrenching laughter most comedians choose not to go. Paul explores the truth about relationships, to family, trends to culture to music through absolute honesty that will leave you gasping for breath.

Paul started in comedy in 1989 at Yuk Yuks in Edmonton and in 1995 began teaching comedy to others.

Paul has appeared on America's Funniest People, Madly Off In All Directions, The Tommy Hunter Show, CBC's Homegrown", both the Edmonton Comedy Festival and Fringe. Comedy Now, The Halifax Comedy Festival the Winnipeg Comedy Festival as well as touring England.

In 1999 Paul was nominated for Best New Playwright by the Walterdale Theatre for his first play: Tunnel Vision. He has since wrote and produced a two act of Tunnel Vision and the one man play " Stop me When I'm lying."
